Wired Store 2008

For the fourth annual Wired pop-up store, TK New York worked with Wired Magazine executives to move the action uptown from its usual Soho location to this year’s 18th Street spot. With a new Vice President and Publisher at the magazine’s reigns, the Wired Store received a rejuvenating face lift with a simplistic color palette of black, while, and metallic gold. Over a hundred products on this season’s “hot” list were on display at the store. Shoppers enjoyed a Lincoln experience in the new 2009 Lincoln MKS and took particular interest in this year’s kids area featuring a realistic pet dinosaur named Pleo, whom is a store favorite. Having worked with Wired Magazine on this project since its inception four years ago, TK New York once again managed all production elements of the store’s creation sourcing all vendors, staffing the store and coordinating all aspects of the store’s daily operation. The 2008 Wired Store was a great success bringing in an average of 500 people per day.
