Maxim State Fair – Super Bowl 2011

Welcome to Texas! We knew it would be next to impossible to top last year’s event but in our sixth year of producing Maxim Magazine’s ultimate Super Bowl event, TK New York did it again and did it BIG–Texas style.  In a total build out of Centennial Hall in Dallas’ Fair Park, TK New York brought the State Fair to Super Bowl weekend. From a Ferris wheel to bumper cars, skeeball to midways games, guests had nonstop stimulation. The 60 models decked out in daisy dukes and cowboy boots tipped their hats as guests entered the event.

With seamless integration, the 5 sponsors each had their own State Fair element.  Patron, AOL, and Armani Code sponsored midway games where guests won stuffed animals.  Patron shined with a customized cotton candy bar that towered 30ft above the dance floor where guests could order a Big Tex Margarita cocktail complete with cotton candy garnish.  Motorola XOOM entertained 500 guests in their own VIP area adorned with interactive XOOMs. A 16 foot tall gorgeous Maxim Cowgirl watched over the party as she rotated atop the main bar.  EA, Virgin Gaming and Sony hosted a gaming tournament area where branded models awarded the winner a $5000 cash prize.

DJ Ross One and DJ Vice set the mood for the controlled chaos that is the Maxim Super Bowl Party. Celebrities such as Adrien Brody, Chris Brown, Mark Sanchez, Jesse Metcalf, the cast of Glee, Jessica Lowndes and Joe Jonas walked 100ft of GREEN carpet to arrive at the enormous VIP deck. Although tables were in a secure area, celebs didn’t hesitate to challenge friends on the bumper cars or to a game of ring toss.

Through ice storms and power outages that paralyzed the city, TK New York pulled off “the best party of the weekend” according to the New York Times and ESPN Magazine.
